Sibling Rivalry

Heavenly Father, do not permit _____ to be quarrelsome;

instead, cause him/her to be gentle, patient, and humble, especially when _____ siblings are in the wrong…because then they will be more likely, with God’s help, to turn away from their wrong ideas and believe what is true.  ~Amen   (2 Timothy 2:24-26 LB)

Sibling Relationships

~~One moment, One prayer , One life changed by the power of God’s Word~~

Heavenly Father,  cause _child’s name_ and his/her siblings to be devoted to one another in brotherly love, honoring one another above themselves.   (Romans 12:10)

Lord, give my children special relationships with one another.  Today and into the future, may they be good friends who can rely on each other.  ~Amen

Brothers & Sisters

Pray today from Colossians 2, verse 2 (Living Bible Translation):

Lord God, Let child’s name and his/her siblings be encouraged and knit together with strong ties of love.  Let them have the rich experience of knowing Christ with real certainty and clear understanding.

Bless my children with a wonderful relationship with each other. Today and in the future, may they always be there for each other and have a special bond with each other.  ~Amen

Sibling Unity

Pray for your child today from Romans 15, verses 5 & 6:

Give child’s name and their siblings endurance, encouragement, and a spirit of unity as they follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth they may glorify You, Heavenly Father.

Lord, give my children a special sibling bond.  Help them to enjoy each other, love and respect each other, and create a wonderful friendship that can be found nowhere else but within a family.  ~Amen

Humility & Love For Others

Pray for your child today from Philippians 2, verses 3 and 4:

“Help child’s name do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,

but in humility let child’s name consider others better than themselves.

Let child’s name look not only to his or her own interests, but also to the interest of others.”

God, help my child be aware of the needs of others and find joy in helping to meet those needs.  ~Amen
